インダクションボックスの底面は、完成後にはほとんど見えなくなる部分です。
それでも妥協せず、実車資料を参考にしながら細部までしっかりと作り込み、完成度を高めていきます。
The underside of the induction boxes will be almost completely hidden once the model is fully assembled.
Even so, no compromises are made. Using reference photos of the real car, the hidden details are carefully reproduced to achieve the highest possible level of accuracy.
フューエルレール同士を、自作したパイプで接続していきます。
配管の長さや曲げ角度を調整しながら組み付けることで、実車のレイアウトに近い自然な取り回しを再現していきます。
The fuel rails are connected using scratch-built pipes.
Each pipe is carefully shaped and adjusted for length and bend angle to reproduce the routing and layout of the real car as accurately as possible.
次はスロットルリンケージのリターンスプリングを製作します。
キットではこの部分がすべて省略されているため、実車資料を参考にしながら一から製作して再現していきます。
Next, work begins on the throttle linkage return springs.
Since these components are completely omitted from the kit, they will be scratch-built from the ground up using reference photos of the real car to achieve a more accurate representation.
先ほど製作したスロットルリンケージのスプリングを取り付けていきます（画像の黄色の丸印）
The throttle linkage return springs fabricated earlier are now installed (highlighted by the yellow circles in the photo).
インダクションボックスを取り付ける前に、オイルタンク周辺の配線を追加しておきます。
この部分はインダクションボックスを組み付けると作業が難しくなるため、配線の取り回しや接続位置を確認しながら、この段階で仕上げておきます。
Before installing the induction boxes, the wiring around the oil tank is added.
Once the induction boxes are in place, access to this area becomes much more limited, so the wiring is completed at this stage while carefully checking its routing and connection points.
エンジン前方のパーツは、金属らしい質感が感じられるよう塗装を施します。
さらに、自作したボルトを追加してディテールアップを行い、完成したパーツをエンジンへ取り付けていきます。
The components at the front of the engine are painted to reproduce a realistic metallic finish.
Scratch-built bolts are then added to enhance the detail, and the completed assembly is installed on the engine.
そして、製作しておいたインダクションボックスを取り付けていきます。
各部とのクリアランスや位置関係を確認しながら慎重に組み付けを行い、エンジン上部が実車らしい密度感のある仕上がりとなるよう組み立てていきます。
Finally, the previously completed induction boxes are installed.
Careful attention is paid to the alignment and clearances during assembly, resulting in an engine bay with the dense, highly detailed appearance characteristic of the real car.
こちらの画像は、キットをそのまま組み立てた状態のインダクションボックス周辺です。
This image shows the area around the induction boxes as it appears when the kit is assembled straight out of the box.
比較すると、かなり実車に近い雰囲気になってきたと思います。
エンジンやギアボックス周辺はまだ完成していませんが、製作工程を考慮し、次回からはモノコックの製作へ移ることにします。完成後に組み込みが難しくなる部分を先に仕上げながら、全体の組み立てを進めていく予定です。
Compared with the original kit assembly, I think the overall appearance has come much closer to that of the real car.
Although the engine and gearbox are not yet fully completed, the remaining work will be carried out in a sequence that makes assembly easier. From the next installment, I will move on to the monocoque, completing the areas that will become difficult to access later before returning to the engine for the final stages.
